Kaia Hedlund has worked various media and championship roles with the MPSF since 2005, and has been the championship director for MPSF Swimming since 2010. She serves as the President of Kaico Sports, a consulting firm specializing in intercollegiate and amateur sports. Kaia has also served as the Director of Athletics at Chaminade University, Director of Special Projects for the Big West Conference, Executive Director of the 2004 Long Beach Aquatics Festival and as an Assistant/Associate Athletics Director at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of California, Irvine.
Kaia has served on numerous national committees and boards and has served as chair of the Men's and Women's NCAA Water Polo Committees as well as the NCAA Two-Year College Relations Committee.
Kaia is a USC graduate, where she swam for four years, captaining the team for two. She also competed in Water Polo and paddled Outrigger Canoes, and continues to swim at the Masters Level. Kaia received a master’s degree with an emphasis in Sports Management from Cal State Fullerton.Â
Kaia is married to Gary Wible, and resides in Long Beach, California
